Updates

Seriously... someone remind me to update this thing.

Status:
- Classes begun.
- Job quit.
- Homework annoying.
- 21 and still not an alcoholic.

Statement to prove the last one:
- Aaron: "Yeah, I don't think you'll ever be an alcoholic."
Josh: "Is it a bad thing that I'm disappointed to hear that?"

I very possibly may have fucked up my life once again.

My stupidity knows no bounds, doesn't it?

"Life, love, and the pursuit of happiness..." Except that life is the pursuit of happiness, and that happiness is love. So if you have no love, nor any hope for it, what is the purpose in life?

Let me advise everyone reading this to NEVER ask themselves that question. And NEVER ask that question to your siginficant other.

Month update:

I was in a good mood tonight.

A very... very good mood.

And then it got ruined.

Because I don't have enough people blocked on my IM programs.

DO THIS: If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want- good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

Man, it's like... wang-tastic when you get into a big arguement about something, and then suddenly end up in like... not an arguement.

I'm not sure if the term 'wang-tastic' is a good or a bad thing, but, I think it's good... because if an arguement ends like that, then it's more or less chalked up to like... omni-missunderstandings.

Those are the worst kinds of arguements, because everyone is completely right in feeling like they do in regards to how they percieve the situation... and neither party seems to understand that they need to stop defending their position and understand just why the fight is there in the first place.

On a side note, playing talbetop RPGs is fun. Though a little odd out. Putting non-stock characters in an environment made specifically for them tends to go very badly. However, putting them in an environment intended for stock characters, and things get a little wacky.

Two men walk into a werehouse full of smugglers, but instead of busting up the crime ring and bringing justice, they hold a little conference and decide that for a cut of the profits, they'll act as security for the shipments.

The daughter of a wealthy businessman is kidnapped. The heroes are sent to the rescue. Standard fare, except that instead of some climactic battle to save the girl, the heroes decide to give in to the demands in order to assure her safety; only to take the man down with a well placed sniper bullet once he's been lured into the open to make the exchange.

Unorthodox ways to deal with 'normal' situations... However, putting an unorthodox character in an environment that is designed to be navigated by 'unique' means... it just takes a little of the charm away from the game.
